Grants Administration
Many communities, rural and urban, face unique challenges when it becomes necessary to replace or restore outdated or inefficient infrastructure. Adequate roadways and utilities are essential to the life of a community and its citizens. The quality of life and sustainability of a region is dependent upon safe roadways, state of the art utilities, recreation, and civic centers. Since 1989, Melvin Engineering has assisted municipalities throughout Northwest Florida in identifying projects that are eligible for federal, state, and/or local funding. Once identified, preparation and submittal of an application follows and, ultimately funding is granted and the project must then be administered to conform to strict guidelines. The process is one that requires great expertise in local knowledge as well as bureaucratic compliance. Millions of dollars have been gained through grants for our local clients. We are focused on continued success for Northwest Florida.
